The EDI File Feed Business Analyst position is an exciting opportunity working with external Group Benefits (GB) customers to enable data connections with their Enrollment and HRIS platforms. Partnering with our external clients, technology platform partners and GB business partners (Operations, Implementation, Sales, Claims and Client Relationship Managers), the EDI File Feed Business Analyst will participate in consultative conversations for aligning products and services sold to the customers Hartford Standard Layout. The EDI File Feed Business Analyst is responsible for implementing timely, high quality inbound data connections using traditional Electronic Data Interface (EDI) File Feeds to support client needs. The EDI File Feed Business Analyst will use a variety of skills such as relationship building skills, consultation, data driven decision making and project management skills to prioritize work, respond to multiple deadlines, and balance concurrent tasks successfully in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
+ Participate in Customer implementations providing consultative support with data exchange options involving File Feeds.
+ Participate in internal and external meetings to walk customers through our data exchange options (File Feed, LIMRA etc.).
+ Participate in implementation calls with Implementation Managers on topics related to data exchange.
+ Ability to craft and manage documentation that supports the effective delivery of technology that meets specific business needs.
+ Responsible for integration, configuration and testing activities with Customer and HR Tech platform.
+ Build strong relationships with external clients, external technology platform partners and Implementation Team.
+ Take accountability for successful Customer Experience.
+ Ability to recognize customer data sensitivity and limit use and distribution of protected information to the minimum amount required.
+ Partner with Best Practices team to build and maintain strong routines for updating all content.
+ Refresh current capability documentation and best practices.
Qualifications of this role:
+ Strong understanding of various data exchange options – File Feeds, API and SSO.
+ Familiarity or prior experience with HR Tech platforms.
+ At least 3 years of experience with Group Products (Leave, Life, Supp Health and Disability).
+ Strong Customer-facing consultative skills.
+ Ability to analyze data, problem solve, make judgments as to reliability/accuracy of information received.
+ Ability to successfully work on multiple installations at the same time. Effectively prioritize and time management.
+ Requires knowledge of data analysis tools such as SQL and MS Excel.
Compensation
The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:
$82,400 - $123,600
