EDI Administrator
Position Description:

An EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) Administrator is responsible for managing the flow of electronic documents between an organization and its trading partners, ensuring seamless data exchange and maintaining system integrity. Responsibilities include setting up new trading partners, mapping EDI documents, testing integrations, and troubleshooting issues.

Setting up new trading partners, maintaining their profiles, and ensuring proper configuration within the EDI system.
• Document Mapping
Developing and maintaining EDI document maps to facilitate accurate data translation between different formats and systems.
• Testing and Integration
Conducting thorough testing of EDI implementations, verifying data accuracy and flow, and ensuring seamless integration with internal systems.
• Issue Resolution
Troubleshooting EDI issues, analyzing rejected documents, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve problems.
• System Maintenance
Monitoring EDI system performance, ensuring data integrity, and proactively addressing potential issues.
• Documentation
Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for EDI systems, procedures, and processes.
• Training and Support
Providing training and support to end-users regarding EDI systems and processes.
• Compliance
Ensuring EDI operations adhere to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
• Communication
Collaborating with customers, suppliers, and IT departments to facilitate communication and resolve issues.
