Job Description:At Regions, the Consumer Customer Outreach Specialist is responsible for performing a variety of operational activities within the Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) scope of work. The specialist will work closely with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) partners to perform customer profile reviews, to include mail, email and phone outreach to Regions customers.
Primary Responsibilities
Performs direct customer outreach to gather required Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)/Anti-Money Laundering (AML) documentationExecutes customer outreach efforts including mail, email and phone callsPerforms high quality customer service to Regions customersEnsures compliance with BSA/AML related laws and regulations and identifies matters of noncompliance and escalates them as necessary for resolutionConducts initial and periodic reviews when certain events occur that may raise the risk profile for certain customer relationshipsCompletes customer enhanced due diligence as necessaryPartners with BSA/AML EDD team to support the Bank’s BSA/AML Know Your Customer (KYC) policiesMonitors EDD team inbox and responds in a timely mannerMay work on special projects as assignedMay provide training and guidance to less experienced SpecialistsThis position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

High School Diploma or GEDSeven (7) years of experience in branch platform, BSA/AML, fraud, loss prevention or related fieldPreferences
Bachelor's degreePrevious BSA/AML experience, preferably in EDD or Know Your Customer (KYC)/Customer Due Diligence (CDD)Bilingual, English/SpanishSkills and Competencies

Associates will have regular work hours, including three full days in the office and two remote days a week.
