**Employment Type:** Part time **Shift:** Night Shift **Description:** **Position Summary & Highlights:** We are seeking an Emergency Tech PRN who is available for work during the night shift. This position is located in Baker City, Oregon Located in Baker City, Oregon and nestled beneath the Elkhorn Mountains, Saint Alphonsus Medical Center - Baker City serves Baker County and surrounding areas. This achievement recognizes our dedication to providing the highest quality, most optimal care for all injured patients. **What you will do:** Our ideal candidate supports clinical staff at the unit level by performing direct patient care under the supervision of the RN. Additional duties include all related clerical, receptionist and patient service coordination. **Minimum Qualifications:** + High School Diploma or equivalent required. + Certified as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the State of Oregon - OR- + Certified as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) by the State of Oregon -OR - + National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT). + Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Six months of experience as a CNA or EMT preferred. + Six months of experience as a CNA preferred. **Highlights and Benefits:** When Saint Alphonsus takes care of you, you can take better care of our patients.
