Our 30 bed/14 wall space unit provides emergency care to all patient populations with a variety of medical conditions. **Schedule:** 3, 12 hour eve/night shifts/week, as well as weekend and holiday rotation **Job Description:** Working under the direction of a registered nurse, this position contributes to the Hospital’s mission to care, heal and to excel in service to our community by performing procedures to provide emergency care, for the comfort and safety of patients. This clinical staff position will have an impact on the patient’s experience by facilitating excellent outcomes utilizing a collaborative team approach to patient care in the emergency care setting. **Education/Experience** **Required:** + Certified Nursing Assistant, nursing student with completion of one medical-surgical clinical rotation or one year clinical care experience or equivalent education, one year clinical care experience, EMT or emergency room clinical experience **Preferred:** + High school diploma/equivalent strongly preferred + Emergency patient care experience + EKG experience + Phlebotomy experience **Other Skills/Knowledge:** **Preferred:** + Basic computer skills + Crisis Prevention/Intervention **LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS, CERTIFICATIONS:** **Preferred:** Nursing Assistant, EMT, Medical Assistant and/or Phlebotomist certification Founded in 2019, our system brings together academic medical centers and teaching hospitals, community and specialty hospitals, primary and specialty care, behavioral health and home care services, and more than 5,900 physicians and 36,000 employees to care for more than 1.7 million patients in communities across Eastern Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire.
