The successful candidate will be expected to perform in the following areas:

Teach mathematics and related subjects, predominantly in Extended Curriculum Programme (ECP) qualifications Develop reusable learning and teaching materials for the subjects being taught (e.g., lecture notes, tutorials, online content) Perform appropriate academic and administrative duties in the Department Participate in curriculum development, particularly at postgraduate level Supervise and assess undergraduate and postgraduate Mathematical Sciences students for their exit-level projects Participate in research and produce DHET-accredited publications at a rate of at least 0.5 publication units per year Participate in the Quality Assurance activities of the Department Assist with marketing and student recruitment activities Perform other functions as may be assigned by the Head of Department
