Herman Miller online retail business in China is fast growing since 2013 with currently three digital platforms in touch with Chinese consumers, including Herman Miller official online store, Herman Miller's flagship store on TMALL.com, and JD.com.
We are looking for a talent who is full knowledge about major eCommerce platforms business model and opportunity for promotion and sales activities in China. (Tmall, JD, brand official store, and other potential platforms).
Responsibilities:
Own the site experience and leverage consumer on-site behavior and analytics to increase revenue, conversion, and engagement; Develop site optimization strategy and calendar to drive short and long-term revenue, conversion, and retention goals; Own the site merchandising strategy and work with the merchandising team and website merchandiser to make sure on-site search and sorting strategies are optimized; Work with website producers and content managers to lead product launch process; Work collaboratively with internal teams and outside development agencies on-site enhancements and bug fixes and participate in the development and release process; Work collaboratively with the internal customer care team as well as the third-party partners and technologies that power our eCommerce sites and leverage them effectively to drive increased traffic and sales; Work with other teams to co-lead digital marketing activities to increase the ROI of all platforms SEO&SEM including a platform affiliate program; Work with retail business team to better align online/offline business; Work with web designers, site merchandisers, and producers to execute website updates including changes based on promotional activity, content refreshes, and new product set-up; and Handle troublesome cases if necessary.
Requirements
Holder of Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of demonstrated success in a hands-on eCommerce role in a high-performing retail environment; Good understanding of UX drivers and SEO; Familiarity with A/B testing including program development and performance measurement; Experience working on integrations with internal systems and/or third-party technologies; Previous experience with site merchandising, A/B testing, and conversion rate optimization tactics; Experience with analytics tools to be able to pull and analyze internal results; Deep understanding of various digital marketing channels (SEO, SEM, Display, Affiliate, Social Media, Email); Strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to remain flexible to change within the work environment and scope of responsibility; and Good Bilingual language skills (English and Mandarin).
