The Ecommerce Merchandiser will be responsible for successfully elevating key products and categories to create an engaging and relevant experience for our visitors, helping to drive sales and meet budgeted forecasts.The ideal candidate will meticulously manage all details related to the execution of product launches and site content, and will work collaboratively with the Ecommerce team to maximize conversion opportunities, support promotional and content marketing, and coordinate tactical day-to-day deliverables.Responsibilities: Responsible for successfully elevating key stories and displaying products and categories to create an engaging and relevant experience for our visitors, helping to drive sales and meet budgeted forecasts. Interpret and react to site KPIs to achieve Sales Goals, reference analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to explore, understand, and report on search trends and buying patterns to drive merchandising strategy. Create an engaging experience by utilizing landing page real estate to establish a mix of merchandising and engagement content. Partner with other team members to plan and help execute successful product launches, including process/workflow management between cross-functional partners. QA and review of site assets, product images, and make adjustments accordingly pre-launch. Monitor website to ensure that product is active on the site and appropriately merchandised. Evaluate placement and productivity based on analytics to maximize sales daily. Keep meticulous records on KPIs and build out/maintain easily sharable dashboards in partnership with the Buying and the Analytics team. Measure and monitor effectiveness, and communicate how the content and product strategy is contributing to business goals as it relates to your category. Ensure that content is SEO-optimized and clearly messaged to the consumer throughout the shopping funnel (e.g., Homepage is aligned with Category Banners and Marketing Activations, and Product Detail Pages are concise and easy to navigate to improve customer satisfaction). Based on analytical data, identify merchandising risks and opportunities with site builds and design changes. Identifies and leverages information (technologies, size charts, buying guides, etc.) that inform, educate, and influence customer buying decisions. Leverage reviews and survey feedback to incorporate customer call-outs/opportunities to optimize product page experience. Maintain and analyze monthly and yearly sales reports and product reports to track KPIs, facilitate analysis to improve conversion, customer engagement, retention, and profitability, and coordinate reporting performance metrics. Qualifications: 2 - 4 years of experience in Ecommerce merchandising and/or visual merchandising. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint). Knowledge of the Web and associated technologies like Magento, Power BI, or similar software preferred. Knowledge of Smart Merchandiser: Visual Merchandising tool preferred. Understanding of the customer and user demographic for high-quality tactical and outdoor gear. Self-motivated. Ability to work well independently and within a multi-functional team. Ability to troubleshoot technology and end-user issues through in-depth investigation using diligent communication across channels to coordinate solutions. Expertise: Strong in smart merchandising software.
