To further strengthen our digital presence and drive direct business, we are seeking a passionate and performance-driven E-Commerce Manager (m/f/d) to join our award-winning team. Reporting directly to the Director of Revenue, this role will lead the hotel’s digital strategy by managing brand.com performance, optimising online distribution channels, overseeing digital media campaigns, and ensuring accurate, brand-consistent content across all platforms. With a strong focus on traffic acquisition, conversion, and revenue growth, you will work cross-functionally with key departments and agencies to position our website as the primary booking channel.

Key ResponsibilitiesAs E-Commerce Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our digital narrative and optimizing every touchpoint of the guest’s online journey. Your key tasks will include, but not limited to:
Brand.com\nDriving direct bookings via strategic web performance and optimized user journeys\nEnhancing the hotel website with focus on conversion, UX, SEO, and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization)\nOverseeing SEO performance and content quality\nLeveraging tools such as Google Analytics, agency dashboards, and SynXis to inform decisions\nLiaising with the regional and corporate offices for deploying website enhancements and functionality upgrades. Collaborating with corporate and global e-commerce teams to deploy brand initiatives\nEnsuring data protection compliance (GDPR, Swiss legal standards)\nCreating promotional content for special offers and packages in coordination with the hotel’s Marketing and Revenue Managers.\nWebsite Analytics \nAnalysing website user behaviours, site performance, traffic, source of referrals, etc., and  enhancing performance.\nConducting competitive benchmarking and keeping up with digital market trends\nDigital Paid Media Strategy\nDeveloping and implementing digital marketing campaigns (Paid Search, Display, Paid Social Media, Meta Search, etc.) for the hotel in key feeder markets.\nAnalysing digital performance data to scale or abort campaigns strategically and ensure profitability.\nReviewing and monitoring the hotel’s primary competition set on a regular basis online and ensure/maintain competitiveness and ‘web appeal’.\nOnline Travel Agents & Vendors\nReviewing and maintaining the hotel representation on OTAs including content, images and review score.\nManaging and optimizing Google My Business and presence across digital maps and listings\nDeveloping cross-selling and upselling tactics across digital channels\nEnsuring the pictures loaded on all brand and third-party websites and social media are in accordance with corporate identity guidelines.\neMail Marketing/Newsletters\nFormulating a newsletter strategy together with the  hotel teams (Marketing, PR, F&B, Spa, etc.).\nAnalysing email productivity and profile segmentation.\nGeneral \nStaying ahead of tech innovation and digital transformation\nSupporting on-property digital advertising (e.g., internal screens, Guest TVs)\nProviding basic design support through Canva for internal marketing use\n

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise\nA digital native with at least 3–5 years of experience in hotel e-commerce or luxury hospitality digital marketing\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Digital Marketing, E-Commerce, Business Administration, Hospitality, or equivalent.\nSolid knowledge of channel management, CMS platforms, and analytics tools\nProven track record in managing digital agencies and driving high-performing campaigns and budget responsibility with tracked ROI\nProven experience managing cross-functional teams, agencies, capable of influencing internal stakeholders (Revenue, PR, GM, Corporate)\nExperienced in structured content strategies aligning with generative AI indexing (ChatGPT, Gemini), driving non-branded search visibility.\nStrong sense of luxury brand positioning, with a deep understanding of guest expectations\nAgile, analytical, and strategic thinker with a hands-on, can-do approach\nFluent in English (German is a plus)\n
