The UK Trading team fuels UK growth by optimising online product sales on Next.co.uk across Womenswear, Menswear, Childrenswear and Home. They drive exciting product launches and strategic promotions to maximise sales and brand visibility.
The role
As an eCommerce Business Owner within the Campaigns team, you will take the lead on shaping the onsite marketing experience for next.co.uk, owning the commercial performance of key campaigns and events - from seasonal moments like Christmas and Eid to always on onsite advertising. With a sharp commercial mindset and a passion for fashion, you'll balance performance with visual impact, driving forward creative and data-led initiatives that enhance customer engagement and boost conversion. Collaborating closely with Data Science, you’ll uncover new targeting opportunities and optimise campaign effectiveness, while also partnering with marketing teams to brief assets, align cross-divisional messaging and ensure a seamless customer journey across onsite and offsite touchpoints. This is a dynamic, high-impact role where you’ll lead change, champion innovation and deliver meaningful improvements to the onsite marketing funnel.
What else is involved?
Owns shoot briefing process and execution for all campaigns (and events). Owns the overarching marketing calendar (divisional business owners to feed in). This includes campaigns (e.g. Christmas and EID) and social events (e.g. Festivals, converts or film launches). You own the execution of campaigns onsite. Owns the content for next.co.uk homepage, updating to reflect sales (& profit) and key fashion trends. Briefs and delivers onsite exposure, next adverts, emails, PUSH for all campaigns. Supports paid and social. Understands and measures performance of campaigns (Sales & all marketing metrics) Delivers onsite adverts and makes changes to the adverts inline with commercial insights. Owns increasing social content onsite. Manages the next sale end to end. Onsite and offsite execution. Owns the online creative meeting, and is the key contact for brand marketing. Attends and presents at UK trade meetings. Runs the weekly marketing meeting with directors - giving updates and visuals for up and coming campaigns, events and opportunities. Ensure that the relevant click throughs from marketing reflect the marketing content and maximise commercial performance. Delivers a strong customer experience onsite for campaigns and events. Ensures relevant recall, and commercial sort orders.

About you:
Strong understanding of analytics, user behaviour and ecommerce trends. Proven experience in a commercially focused marketing, campaign, or eCommerce role Strong understanding of digital customer journeys and onsite user experience Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing relationships with third-party platforms and vendors. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and implement data-driven strategies. Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and a commitment to continuous improvement. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. Proficiency in using e-commerce platforms and analytics tools. A passion for delivering an exceptional shopping experience and a customer-centric mindset.
