The opportunity
We are recruiting for an ECI Manager to support a dynamic portfolio of projects across the water division from Morten Bay region to Sunshine Coast. You will manage the development of Risk Adjusted Max Price process, and oversee the estimating function to ensure value for money outcomes for the program
Our portfolio includes a range of impactful projects, from essential smaller-scale capital works to major construction and infrastructure upgrades. These projects not only enhance critical infrastructure but also drive sustainability initiatives within the water Industry.
What you’ll do
Manage, Support and direct estimating team to meet objectives and achieve timelines for the Program Undertake and deliver the Program’s estimating processes and activities, including simultaneous development of a complex range of small and large RAMPs and project budget estimates across the Program works program Produce and maintain risk registers as inputs to UU Project Estimates Undertake benchmarking of cost estimates against similar projects and use benchmark outcomes to update Program estimating database Develop working relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to maintain timely delivery of pricing data and quotations Work with UU’s Independent Estimator to gain clarity on project cost estimates Assist the Project Manager in ensuring design is checked against capital budgets during design development, and documentation Provide expert technical support and advice to delivery teams and the wider Program on estimating issues Provide input to Project Delivery reporting on performance and progress, including development of solutions to issues that compromise attainment of agreed performance targets

What we’re looking for
Relevant tertiary or trade qualifications (desirable) Expert Estimator training Proven experience in RAMP or TOC processes Extensive civil and /or mechanical estimating experience within the water sector Demonstrated experience using Expert Estimator software Proven Management & Leadership Experience Ability to effectively Manage & Lead a team of estimators to get desired outcomes Understanding of risk management and application of risk registers in an estimating environment
