Responsibilities:
Assist physicians with invasive procedures, adhering to universal protocol standards. Ensure exams are coded, tracked, networked, and charges entered via RIS and ISITE systems. Responsible for high-level disinfection of devices, supplies, and equipment. Communicate instructions clearly to patients, explaining procedures to alleviate fears and gain cooperation. Identify patients using two identifiers and follow universal protocol during procedures. Review patient history and physician orders, applying departmental protocols for optimal data acquisition; document patient history electronically. Perform technical ultrasound procedures, correlating patient history, lab data, and physical findings for medical diagnosis under physician supervision. Interact effectively with patients and co-workers, displaying care, listening, dignity, and respect. Work as a team member within the department and across departments to expedite patient care. Utilize ultrasound instrumentation, demonstrating knowledge of equipment operations and scanning techniques for optimized image documentation; complete procedures according to protocol.Shift: Various shifts starting no earlier than 7 a.m. and ending no later than 8 p.m. Shifts include rotating weekends, rotating Saturdays, and on-call duties. The expected shifts are 7AM-3:30PM, 7:45AM-4:15PM, 9:30AM-6PM
