Under general supervision, performs vascular andechocardiography ultrasound examinations for patients. Participates in a variety of specializedtechnical evaluation procedures, including analyzing digitized electrocardiography(ECG) tapes, Holter monitoring, cardiac ultrasound and echocardiography, andgenerating quantitative arrhythmia reports.
Minimum Requirements:
Associate’s degree or experience in a related fieldpreferred and/or per state requirements Two (2) years of experience as a Cardiovascular technicianpreferred Current CPR if applicable TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation) Must meet all federal, state and local requirements Must be at least 18 years of ageMachines/EMRs used: Philipsmachine, EPIC EMR and PiCom PACS
Required experience: Must beRDS or RDMS certified, at least 1 year of cardiac sonography
Preferred experience: 2+years of cardiac sonograph
