Under general supervision, performs vascular andechocardiography ultrasound examinations for patients. Participates in a variety of specializedtechnical evaluation procedures, including analyzing digitized electrocardiography(ECG) tapes, Holter monitoring, cardiac ultrasound and echocardiography, andgenerating quantitative arrhythmia reports.
Minimum Requirements:
Associate’s degree or experience in a related fieldpreferred and/or per state requirements One (1) year of experience as a Cardiovascular technicianpreferred Current CPR if applicable TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation) Must meet all federal, state and local requirements Must be at least 18 years of ageAbilityto perform EKGs, stress tests and Holter monitors as needed.
RegisteredDiagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Diagnostic MedicalSonographer (RDMS) with at least one year specialized experience in DopplerEchocardiography.
