Salary: $38 / Hour Location: Wilson, North Carolina Job Type: Full-Time Pay Rate: $34 /hr About the Role: The ECTeacher will be responsible for developing and implementing individualizededucation plans (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs. This roleinvolves collaborating with general education teachers, parents, and otherprofessionals to ensure that each student receives the appropriate support andresources to succeed academically and socially. Key Responsibilities: + Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student's needs. + Provide direct instruction and support to students in various settings. + Collaborate with general education teachers to modify curriculum and accommodate students' needs. + Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instruction as necessary. + Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress and needs. + Participate in IEP meetings and other relevant school activities. + Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and progress. Qualifications: + Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred). + Valid state teaching certification in North Carolina + Experience working with students with diverse learning needs. + Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators and support staff. + Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with students with special needs.
