Responsible for starting, monitoring, and stopping production lines.  Setting temperature and level set points as required.  Keeps all records of production neat and legible. 

Key Responsibilities:

Keeps all necessary records for production in a neat and legible manner.  

Keeps constant communication with the operators, supervisors, and other departments to maintain the necessary line flow.

Monitors all facility-wide alarms on Control Room computer.

Responsible for preparing lines for production by filling blanchers, dip tanks, and pumps with water; starting peelers for warm-up cycles; inserts equipment set point (speed and temperatures) into terminals; starts lines, bringing up heat on equipment; starts freezing belts; and monitor lines during warm-up. 

Responsible for line control during processing. 

Starts evenflows and controls speed to maintain adequate line load; monitors all equipment to maintain the temperatures and speed; starts and stops lines during emergency situations.
