Any unsolicited resumes, including those submitted to hiring managers or other business leaders, will become the property of WSP and WSP will have the right to hire that candidate without reservation – no fee or other compensation will be owed or paid to the recruiter, employment agency, or other staffing service._ • Experience of applying current design standards, guidance and good working practices to the design of external spaces; • A strong understanding of the Canadian Landscape Standard, published by the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects, latest edition (to be provided); • Experience in the production of landscape information for infrastructure and development projects, ranging from site audit/concept design and feasibility studies, including production of detailed information for tender and construction including hard and soft landscape plans, grading, construction detailing, planting schedules and specifications; • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams on a wide range of project types; and, • Knowledge of relevant industry legislation, health and safety/CDM regulations, contracts and tendering procedures. + Experience in the use of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit (3D Modelling) and Microstation associated software for production of technical information; + Experience working in BIM Level 2 environment using BIM 360 Document Manager or Projectwise or similar/equivalent; + Experience in the use of Adobe design suite (Inc. InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and GIS for production of maps, graphics and reports; + Strong 3D visualization skills including proficiency in Sketchup, Lumion, 3DSMax, etc.; + Masters of Landscape Architecture or recognised equivalent; + Fluent English speaker with excellent spoken, written and graphic communication skills; + Ability to speak and write French would be an added benefit; and, + Proven experience and technical capability gained within a professional consultancy or local authority environment.
