Early College Program Coordinator (HSIAM Partnership) (aHEO) **POSITION DETAILS** New York City College of Technology (City Tech) of the City University of New York (CUNY) is a comprehensive college in downtown Brooklyn, offering associate and baccalaureate degrees in technology and health related degree programs, other career-oriented degrees and liberal arts transfer degrees in its Schools of Arts and Sciences, Technology and Design, and Professional Studies. City Tech invites applicants for an Early College Program Coordinator (HSIAM Partnership), reporting to the Early College Director/Manager in the Office of the Provost, to support our collaboration with New York City's High School for Innovation in Advertising & Media (HSIAM) and the American Association of Advertising Agencies. This New York State Pathways in Technology (NYS P-TECH) program, a public-private partnership, prepares students for high-skill jobs in Communication Design, by combining high school, college, and career training. Students learn through mentoring, worksite visits, internships, and other forms of educational support. Upon completion of the program, students receive an associate degree in Communication Design and are qualified for careers in this exciting field. The Early College Program Coordinator’s responsibilities will include but not be limited to: + Collaborate with the High School of Innovation in Advertising and Media (HSIAM) partners and work closely with Early College Director/Manager on program administration. + Communicate with college faculty, college and high school staff, parents, students and others to support student success. + Maintain student records for participating students each semester. + Support admission, registration, and exit processes in coordination with HSIAM and college personnel, while adhering to program goals, policies, and procedures. + Assist as directed with program assessment and reporting processes. + Coordinate the purchasing of course materials and supplies for students. + Assist the Early College Director/Manager with inventory, website content updates, and other related activities. + Perform related duties as assigned. **QUALIFICATIONS** **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS** Bachelor's Degree required. **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** + Bachelor’s degree in Communication Design or related field + Previous student support experience in a higher education setting + Good communication, analytical and computer skills + Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural setting **CUNY TITLE OVERVIEW** Provides basic operational and analytical support related to a College's specialized academic program. - Supports the directors and managers with orientation preparation, student advisement regarding program requirements, and providing basic information about financial aid and registration - Manages office records including faculty files; prepares reports and surveys; collects and maintains statistical data on program activities - Serves as liaison to various College offices to provide service delivery and appropriate referrals to students - Collects and reviews syllabi to ensure compliance with standards - Serves as resource person for students and faculty regarding program policies and procedures - May supervise office operations and/or monitor department budget - Performs related duties as assigned. Salary commensurate with education and experience. **CUNY is in the process of implementing salary schedule increases.
