Copeland, a standalone company with 100+ years in the HVACR industry, is seeking a talented professional to join our global Talent Acquisition team as an Early Career Programs Recruiter. In this role, you will execute the full cycle recruiting strategy for our internship and apprenticeship programs. Your work will include creating proactive sourcing strategies, understanding key markets & deploying recruiting approaches to build your network & amplify the Copeland brand through engaging top early career talent.
You will partner closely with the Early Career Programs Recruiting Lead who will lead our university relations strategy, as you execute the tactical tasks needed increase our presence on key campuses, connect with top collegiate talent, and increase brand awareness through outreach. This position will be part of the global Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence team and will report to the Global Director of Talent Acquisition. This role will be hybrid and based out of one of our US sites; preferably St. Louis, MO, or Sidney, OH.
**As an Early Career Programs Recruiter, You Will:**
+ Perform full cycle recruiting efforts for internship & apprenticeship roles. This includes creating requisitions, posting & advertising the roles, as well as sourcing, identifying, screening, interviewing, and hiring top talent. You will collaborate with other global TA team members outside of the US who are also recruiting early career talent.
+ Actively work with hiring managers to understand their intern or apprentice needs to proactively fill current and upcoming roles.
+ Coordinate university career fairs and events, including marketing, event logistics, booth presentation, ambassador participation and post event follow-up activities.
+ In partnership with the University Relations / Early Career Programs Recruiting Lead, collaboratively execute, coordinate, and participate in campus recruiting activities outside of career fairs, including networking events, campus info sessions, coffee talks, “day in the life” series and social media campaigns.
+ Be an expert in the utilization of early career specific recruiting platforms such as RippleMatch and Handshake. Be proficient in the usage of our HRIS (Workday) LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing or recruiting tools.
**Required Education, Experience & Skills:**
+ Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience in early career recruiting
+ Experience performing pipeline or high-volume recruiting
+ Experience working with university representatives, including driving increased engagement
+ Proven collaborative team player who operates with a sense of urgency, and can prioritize effectively, multi-task, and identify and develop process improvements and deliver results
+ Must be detail-oriented with project and time management skills with a proven track record of meeting set deadlines to provide employee/management customer service
+ Legal Authorization to work in the United States, unrestricted for an unlimited period of time - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role
**Preferred Education, Experience & Skills:**
+ 5 years of experience recruiting early career level talent
+ Experience driving brand representation and marketing efforts to the early career talent segment
+ Experience using Workday, RippleMatch, Handshake, MS Office, and social media
+ Experience working in start-up or rapidly evolving environment organization, or supporting new builds and rolling out programs in the early career space
