Psomas helps public agencies and private sector clients transform how they manage infrastructure, assets, and operations. Our Tech Services team delivers full-service support for Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Business Intelligence (BI), GIS, and SaaS-based technology implementations. We are expanding our EAM practice with a focus on OpenGov EAM implementations and are seeking a senior-level EAM Consultant Lead to join our team as both a Senior EAM leader and technical mentor.\n

About being our EAM Consultant Lead - Technical Solution Lead \n

As an EAM Consultant Lead - Technical Solution Lead at Psomas, you will be responsible for leading EAM software implementations from end-to-end: business process design, system configuration, technical solutioning, data migration support, and client adoption.\n

In addition to leading client engagements, you will perform advanced technical configuration work, serve as a subject matter expert, and mentor junior team members in developing their skills. This position combines strong technical aptitude, business process consulting, project delivery management, and internal team leadership.

Responsibility Highlights for our EAM Consultant Lead - Technical Solution Lead \n\nServe as the lead consultant for OpenGov EAM implementations, accountable for end-to-end project success.\nLead discovery sessions, gather detailed business requirements, and translate them into system design specifications.\nArchitect EAM solutions, including system configuration, workflow design, integrations, data migration oversight, and reporting.\nManage project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and deliverables across multiple active projects.\nAct as primary client liaison, building strong relationships and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.\nLead client training sessions, workshops, and user adoption activities.\nConduct solution demonstrations and support pre-sales scoping when needed.\nPerform hands-on system configuration of EAM platform.\nDesign and test complex workflows, automations, integrations, and reporting solutions.\nTroubleshoot technical issues, lead problem resolution, and escalate to vendor support as needed.\nProvide oversight and guidance for data migration efforts, including data mapping and quality assurance.\nDevelop and maintain solution documentation, configuration records, and client-specific deployment standards.\nServe as a subject matter expert for internal staff, providing technical guidance and solution design coaching.\nHelp train, mentor, and develop junior consultants and analysts to build technical delivery capabilities within the team.\nContribute to refining delivery templates, documentation standards, and best practices.\nParticipate in ongoing practice development and continuous improvement initiatives.\n\n

Minimum Qualifications to be our EAM Consultant Lead - Technical Solution Lead \n\nBachelor's degree in business, information systems, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).\n5+ years' experience leading EAM, ERP, or SaaS software implementations.\nDeep knowledge of Enterprise Asset Management processes, particularly in Public Works, Transportation, Utilities, or Facilities Management.\nStrong experience with OpenGov EAM or comparable EAM systems (Cartegraph, Cityworks, Infor, Maximo, etc.).\nHands-on experience configuring SaaS platforms, developing business workflows, setting up automation rules, and designing system integrations.\nFamiliarity with data management, data migration, and data validation processes.\nStrong facilitation skills for client discovery, solution design, and stakeholder alignment.\nSolid project management experience: managing scope, schedules, and budgets.\nExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.\nStrong aptitude for problem-solving and critical thinking.\nExperience working directly with public sector clients.\n\n

Preferred Qualifications for our EAM Consultant Lead - Technical Solution Lead \n\nPMP, CAPM, or similar project management certification (or willingness to obtain within 12 months).\nExposure to GIS, work order management, infrastructure asset data models.\nExperience mentoring junior staff or building internal technical capability.\nExperience using project management tools\n\n
