This includes day to day operation of that unit, understanding costs associated with steelmaking, scheduling and assisting maintenance during downtime, and helping coordinate the flow of the Melt Shop. This individual is also responsible for continuous development of themselves and the team working under their guidance. Working a rotating shift including nights, weekends, holidays, and scheduled and unscheduled overtime is required. Nucor Steel West Virginias greenfield project is a new state-of-the-art sheet steel mill that will produce up to 3 million tons per year once fully operational. This advanced manufacturing facility is to be located in Mason County, along the Ohio River in close proximity to both Huntington and Charleston, WV.
