**As a CBRE Energy & Sustainability Consultant, you will drive the development of programs to measure and improve sustainability performance, focusing on Energy and Waste Management across the real estate portfolio in EMEA and LATAM for a client in the Financial and Professional Services Sector. You will be responsible for data collection and reporting on selected Sustainability Targets, as well as calculating achieved savings from implemented actions.**
**This position is part of the Energy and Sustainability functional area, which focuses on developing and implementing environmental and social sustainability programs.**
**What You Will Do:**
• Lead and collaborate with the Sourcing Team on utilities contracting and management across EMEA.
• Suggest improvements by identifying and implementing energy efficiency opportunities across an international real estate portfolio, considering cost-effectiveness, technical feasibility, and facility integration.
• Calculate and report savings from implemented and planned energy and sustainability projects and initiatives.
• Support data improvement plans and the development and implementation of M&V plans.
• Lead data collection and reporting for Project Waste, collaborating with the Project Management Team on improvements.
• Lead data collection and reporting for Office Waste, working with the Facilities Management Team to identify and implement recycling solutions.
• Collect data and report on Green Building Certifications (LEED, BREEAM, etc.) and Renewable Energy Targets.
• Build and maintain knowledge of current legal and market changes related to compliance on energy, carbon, and sustainability.
• Support the E&S Data Analyst and E&S Lead with ad hoc tasks related to compliance, data analysis, reporting, and budget forecasting.
• Create Power BI reports.
• Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values.
• Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
• Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.
**What You Will Need:**
• Minimum Bachelor's degree (BSc, BEng) in environmental science, energy management, climate change, sustainability, power engineering, or a related field.
• Preferred minimum of three years of related experience and/or training (e.g., CEM).
• Proficient in Excel, with at least basic skills in Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
• Willingness to travel abroad (1-2 times per year).
• Advanced English proficiency in speaking and writing.
• A broad understanding of various aspects of sustainability within the real estate sector.
• Ability to calculate savings from energy efficiency projects implemented within the real estate portfolio.
• Technical competency to understand complex problems, think strategically, and identify sustainable solutions.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and program management skills with an inquisitive mindset.
