Job Description:

Creatively uses adult learning principles, project management skills, and Healthcare Simulation Standards of best practice to design and deliver engaging organization-wide education using healthcare simulation and provides education and support to allied health services. Oversee daily operation of simulation center. Manage the preparation, maintenance, inventory and operation of all simulation equipment/supplies and collaborates with Professional Development Specialists, Professional Development Associate, Clinical Nurse Educators, and others as needed to design, plan, implement and schedule simulation activities. The coordinator ensures adherence to program policies, course objectives, program outcomes and current simulation best practice and safety measures. Collaborates with allied health service department leadership to provide professional development

Requirements:

Associate's Degree in Healthcare field: paramedic, EMT, Respiratory Therapist, Radiology TechKnowledge of Medical Terminology and Human Anatomy/PhysiologyBLSMust obtain Certified Healthcare Simulation Operations Specialist within two years of hire date.

Preferred Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare discipline preferredCertified Healthcare Simulation Specialist (CHSOS)
