PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
As an E&I Superintendent at Worley, you will play a pivotal leadership role in the delivery of complex, high-impact energy, chemicals, and resources projects. This role is essential in driving our transition toward more sustainable energy solutions while continuing to support the infrastructure that meets today’s global demands. You will be responsible for supervising forepeople and trade crews to ensure electrical and instrumentation (E&I) work is executed with excellence—meeting safety, quality, and project objectives. By leveraging technical acumen, leadership capability, and a commitment to sustainable practices, you will help bridge conventional and renewable project execution, embodying Worley’s purpose of delivering a more sustainable world.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership and SupervisionLead and mentor forepeople and craft personnel across multiple worksites. Promote a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and accountability.Project Execution and Scheduling
Develop detailed work schedules and execution plans, aligning E&I activities with broader project goals and ensuring deliverables are met efficiently and on time.Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE)
Champion Worley’s commitment to safety by enforcing HSE standards and leading regular safety briefings, audits, and hazard mitigation practices on site.Quality Assurance
Monitor and evaluate installation and commissioning quality across E&I scope, addressing issues proactively and aligning work with industry standards and client expectations.Cost and Resource Management
Manage resources effectively, ensuring the responsible use of labor and materials. Collaborate with project teams to maintain cost awareness and contribute to overall project financial health.Apprentice Training and Workforce Development
Support the growth and development of emerging talent by overseeing on-the-job training for apprentices, ensuring knowledge transfer and capability building.Communication and Coordination
Maintain clear, consistent communication with internal teams, client representatives, and stakeholders to align progress, resolve issues, and facilitate collaborative decision-making.Systems and Process Improvement
Leverage digital tools and best-in-class project systems to optimize productivity and reporting. Contribute to the adoption of innovative methods that drive performance and sustainability outcomes.

*QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLSET
Industry ExperienceExtensive experience in electrical and instrumentation installation and commissioning, ideally within industrial construction, energy, or infrastructure environments. Experience in both traditional and renewable energy projects is strongly valued.Certifications and Trade Credentials
Recognized journey-level certification in electrical and instrumentation, or equivalent combination of training and experience.Leadership Capability
Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary crews, foster inclusive team dynamics, and develop individuals across experience levels.Technical Competency
In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation devices, industrial controls, and commissioning practices. Capable of interpreting complex engineering documentation and ensuring alignment with execution practices.HSE Leadership
