This is a union position located at our Esandar hauling site.

Some “Manual Loading” may be required – rolling out and lining up Totes prior to setting on lift. Some overflow bags/larger items will need to be manually loaded.
Start time: 3 a.m.
Starting Pay: $30.46 / hour.
Start time: 3 a.m. (Early AMs may be a challenge if unaccustomed to them)
Shift: There is an expectation of daily overtime of 11-12 hours worked per day, as well as Saturdays.
OT is paid daily after 10 hours (which includes lunch and breaks); Saturdays are paid at time-and-a-half for hours worked.

A. Education and Experience
Education: None required. Experience: DZ 1-year garbage truck experience OR DZ truck experience (not delivery nor bus) of at least 2 yearsB. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations, or Other Requirements
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada with a valid social insurance number (SIN). Hold a current DZ or Class 3 license or higher. The CDL is a requirement; therefore, an applicant must be at least 18 years of age. Successfully complete pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check, which will include previous employment check, and motor vehicle record review. Acceptable driving record required.The expected base pay range for this position across Canada is $30.46 hourly. This range represents a good-faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
