Dyno Technician
Kforce has a client in Milford, MI that is seeking a Dyno Technician responsible for working within the Noise and Vibration Chassis Dynamometer Lab/Program Milage Outdoor Dynamometer Lab to ensure first time quality and on-time delivery of test data for the various test areas. The Dyno Technician will support various engineering groups that are responsible for meeting federal requirements and internal requirements. Technicians need to demonstrate a high level of communication and interpersonal skills to effectively handle multiple projects with minimal supervision all while working with various organizations during the vehicle development process. Responsibilities: * Plan, build, install, and teardown instrumentation for the various tests requested by engineering * Setup and troubleshooting of test automation systems and non-intrusive driving robots * Evaluate results; Produce quality test data in accordance with Vehicle Technical Specifications (VTS) and Federal Regulatory requirements, per documented NHTSA procedures * Investigate mechanical/electrical operational difficulties on products and/or components * Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and computer/software problems with test equipment and properties * Schedule workload and test equipment usage and calibration * Test vehicle installation, removal and monitoring * Work with vehicle communication tools including INCA, V-spy, General CAN, NeoVi, etc.
