Your mission, roles and responsibilitiesThe BG CO2 Costing & Sustainability leader would drive cost competitiveness with a specific focus on development and deployment of framework for CO2 calculations across the program value chain and across all phases of the program (from acquisition to development to serial production). The key responsibilities would include:
• The deployment and maintenance of the CO2 costing tool, enriching the database, and training the global costing community.
• The compliance with Group Sustainability FCP / Standards and working closely with Group Sustainability and Group Costing to define, deploy and report sustainability KPIs aligning with the group’s objective.
• The definition, roll-out and updates of the CO2 calculation methodology, and the use of targets agreed with the functions/ divisions.
• The costing homogeneity between all regions (methodology + costing tool). As well, he/she would be in charge of CO2 calculation used at FIS level.
• Provide transversal data analysis and sustainability reporting to Group Sustainability.
• Organize and prepare global CO2 costing reviews/ workshops with all costing managers worldwide, including CO2 champions network management.
• Monitor the CO2 costing KPIs in order to support costing meetings, business committees and program reviews.
• Drive together with the functions, divisions Costing and Central Costing the FIS methodology evolutions needed to ensure FIS business competitiveness.
• Set together with the functions targets to be used for future quotations based on actual plant data.
• Coordinate CO2 assessments requests for programs in dashboard and facilitate with Controlling the reporting of CO2 KPIs as BG level.
• Support functions by providing CO2 related inputs. Identify and suggest ways to reduce CO2 impact while maintaining profitability and margins.
• Support Costing digital transformation & AI initiatives. Directly work with Central Costing team for development of CO2 module in the new digital costing tool.
The ideal candidate would have:
Minimum education level: Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Engineering with proven automotive industry and costing knowledge, financial acumen, and carbon footprint calculation knowledge. Certifications in sustainability and related topics would be added advantage.
Experience:
o Minimum 8-10 years of professional experience, including program costing, manufacturing, or finance experience within automotive or industrial environment.
o Commodity experience polymer materials and in various automotive interiors manufacturing processes.
o Demonstrated strong communication, analytical and synthesis skills

o Dynamic, proactive and quick thinker, organized, team worker, accurate in work deliverables.
o Ability to use IT tools and systems and knowledge of building sustainability specifics KPIs for global costing teams.
