About the location:

The position of the duty engineer is considered the management line of the Engineering department.  It provides an important link between the technician and Engineering management. 

The Four Seasons Hotel functions 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. All associates must realize this fact and be aware that at times it may be necessary to move associates from their accustomed shift as business demands. In addition, it is understood that business determines the amount of hours that are worked, and that a minimum of 48 hours should be completed per week. All methods, materials and practices must meet and be in accordance with the local code, Four Seasons specification, national codes and standard practices. Answering the telephone Fire Fighting procedure as a member of fire fighting team Attend briefing and meeting of engineering, the other department meeting within engineering. Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors. Comply with all departmental compliance requirements as set forth by Human Resources. Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct.

To be willing to train and instruct other members of the staff by passing along your knowledge and skills. In addition, utilizing resources from the engineering training library and of outside vendors and sources will assist them in their development.To continually support and improve engineering services that effectively address problems affecting both guests and associates.To keep all equipment in good repair by providing day-to-day maintenance of the hotel under the direction of engineering management.Daily communication reportUtilize all possible resources. Coordinate efforts with engineering and other affected department.Manage repair and maintenance project and building improvement by effectively coordinating and planning all tasks in advance of beginning any project under the direction of engineering management.Utilize all possible resources. Special Requirements

The certificate with emphasis in engineering (within above the education background of engineering institute is preferred).  Preferably in the area of electronic, electrical, HVAV and mechanical engineeringReading, writing and oral proficiency in French/English languageMinimum five-year experience as a Maintenance Technician in Building M & E services of which one-year must be preferably in the hotel industry.Must be willing to work odd hoursMust be service oriented and be able to maintain Four Seasons Hotel standard of hospitality at all timesMust be willing to perform shift work
