Complementing this technical network, Ford Australia’s National Sales Company (NSC), is the central hub for commercial and customer engagement activities across the country. **About the Role** Ford Australia ius seeking a Durability & Corrosion Operations Engineer to join our Product Development team. This role will focus on enhancing product durability and reliability through physical testing of award-winning Ranger, Ranger Raptor & Everest product lines. Reporting to the Durability Operations Supervisor, working within a small team and supporting the durability & corrosion attribute teams, this role requires knowledge of all vehicle systems to identify and provide insights to support root cause analysis of engineering problems to ensure our future vehicles stand the test of time. This is an on-site position based at our You Yangs Proving Ground Site in Lara, Victoria. **Key Responsibilities** + Understand system-level and vehicle-level attributes to identify durability-related issues and assist the enterprise with resolution of engineering problems. + Lead the execution of vehicle durability and corrosion testing, supporting technicians to prepare & complete durability testing. + Develop and maintain KPIs and insightful dashboards to plan, track and demonstrate continuous improvement in durability operational performance. + Support quality and attribute teams to investigate field issues, providing insights based on test result & methods. **About you:** + Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field. + Minimum 5-8 years of relevant industry experience. + Ability to extract key details from large datasets. + Ability to explain technical concepts to stakeholders with varying levels of technical knowledge and expertise. + Ability to work in a dynamic environment and effectively prioritise work/testing to plan. + An understanding of fatigue and the physics of static and dynamic loading systems an advantage. **Why Ford?** + As we celebrate 100 years in Australia, our legacy truly speaks for itself.
