PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

The purpose of this position is to maximize location profitability through the efficient operation of assigned resources. Provides management, supervision, and leadership of the operations of the assigned location including personnel, scheduling, logistics, product handling, application services, and customer satisfaction. Develops and implements of business plans that maximize location profitability.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Assume the responsibility of supervising, recruiting, coaching, counseling and developing assigned employees. Conduct and promote sales efforts. Responsible for writing and updating job descriptions. Conduct performance reviews on a regular basis. Coordinate the delivery of all assigned products and services in a timely, professional and efficient manner.  Responsible for conducting periodic training and communication meetings with all assigned employees. Maintain inventory according to company guidelines. Develop and implement repair and maintenance programs. Develop operating budget for designated location including fixed asset recommendations. Responsible for providing input on marketing strategies to marketing department managers. Assist all salespeople in maximizing market share and customer service. Maintain facility in a neat and orderly fashion according to company guidelines. Implement safety procedures at all locations. Assist with billing and operation, if necessary, to maintain quality service and efficiency Coordinate activities with other service center managers and department managers to maximize efficiency of the company. Follow all company policies and procedures. Responsible for meeting all company, local, state and federal requirements relating to safety environmental and regulatory.

 

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

Supports and contributes to total company goals and objectives through collaboration efforts. Follows Three Rivers FS Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply. Performs all other duties as assigned

 

REQUIREMENTS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Must have a minimum of a community college associates degree and/or four years of experience in a related field. Number and similarity of guidelines requires use of independent judgment in locating and selecting the most appropriate guidelines or reference; some interpretation required. Contacts with employees outside the immediate department or members of the general public to plan, coordinate or advise in an effort to influence or motivate individuals in situations relative to basic service. Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Must obtain the appropriate drivers license for the type of vehicle that will be required to operate in order to perform all the duties assigned prior to employment and to maintain that license throughout the length of employment. This includes a CDL license with the necessary endorsements such as HAZMAT. Must obtain all other licenses and or certifications as required in order to perform the required duties. Among these would be an applicator’s license, CCA & CCS certifications. Must have a working knowledge of applicable company computer programs. The work requires physical exertion such as long periods of standing; walking over rough, uneven or rocky surfaces; recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, climbing or similar activities; recurring lifting of moderately heavy items such as computers and record boxes. The work may require specific but common physical characteristics and abilities such as above-average agility and dexterity. Must be able to lift and position products weighing up to 60 pounds in any area required or where the patron or supervisor’s request it to be placed. Must be able to get in and out of, as well as operate, all required vehicles and equipment. Must be able to climb ladders, stairs and steps, walk on platforms, etc. at required heights to perform duties as required The work involves risks or discomforts, which require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts, carts or machines; frequently in extreme weather conditions; with irritant chemicals, etc. Employees may be required to use protective clothing or gear such as masks, hearing protectors, coats, boots, goggles, gloves or hardhats.

 

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development. Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record. Ability to travel independently and/or overnight as needed. Must be willing to tolerate working hours beyond those usually considered "normal". Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on Three Rivers FS and GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
