Job Description:

Is responsible for operations of a third-party logistics warehouse, coordinate and supervise all the activities related to the storage & handling operations.

This role ensures that service levels are met, inventory is accurately managed and guarantee the financial $/ton spend of the sites.

This position will create the long-term transformation strategy of the network and continually evaluate and improve service and costs of MX PN.  This will be accomplished through building and developing an effective team, network evaluations, systems integration, conflict management and process improvements, as well as developing analytical and technical skills. 

The 3PL Manager will work with peers in Sales, Warehouse Tier1, Transportation, MGS, Quality, Safety and S&F to meet customer requirements while keeping expenditure within plan.  

3PL Manager will effectively partner with the operation 3PL to ensure processes are correctly executed and adherence to process is in place. Will also work with them to create productivity projects to reduce cost and improve service levels.

What are we looking for?  

Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level 

Experience enables job holder to deal with the majority of situations and to advise others (Over 3 years to 6 years) 

Experience of supervising and directing people and other resources to achieve specific end results within limited timeframes

Excellent Verbal Communication

Ability to builds partnerships and works collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives

Deliver Annual Cost resultsOptimize warehouse layout and processes to maximize efficiencyAccountable for S&H financial results for DTSMaintain inventory accuracyDeliver Business Service levelsEnsuring 3PL performance meets the requirements of SLAs in MX marketsCreate schedules, assign tasks, and monitor performanceEnforce health, safety, and quality standardsDeliver and Lead VL initiatives (360° partnership) – 7% YOYManage and achieve targeted cost and service KPI, objectives for the 3PL.  This will include contract negotiations, system technologies, process improvements, and organizational changesLead, analyze, and evaluate WH options that will support business growthPlan & launch a new warehouse operationDesign optimal warehouse layoutCreate standard operating procedures within our distribution network and supervise these procedures are implementedLeads the VL WH /GOCS excellence and transformational network projectsDevelopment of team and talent pipelineEngage, coach and inspire a team with a visible leadership approachDevelop successor and drive discipline around development plansGuide the day-to-day activities of the team and oversee the implementation of all strategies focuses on VLDevelops technical and analytical skills in the team
