District Sales Manager
As a District Sales Manager, you will be a valuable member of a dynamic and strongly collaborative team where your winning attitude will make a difference. You will be responsible to achieve the wholesale/retail unit and PA&A sales target (in value) for the China market, maximizing BRP's business opportunities and contributing to the long-term business success.
YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO::
- Ensure that unit sales targets and PA&A sales targets (in value) are achieved. Ensure the execution of the IO process and the implementation commercial policy in a timely manner. Implement the available tools to monitor progress; dealer visit planning, visit reports, follow-up on issues and opportunities.
- Understand the dealer’s key business drives and develop a business plan to deliver wholesale & retail targets. Actively participate in the development of the dealers’ marketing & sales plan to optimize market opportunities and meet distributor sell through and inventory targets. Demonstrate a business partner approach to support execution and long-term success.
- Leverages consultative, challenger sales and sales funnel approaches to partner with dealerships to identify opportunities for growth and improvement and utilizes the appropriate resources to provide expertise for resolution. And give dealer clear guidance on retail mindset transition and retail focus.
- Promote PA&A sales and enforce dealers’ PA&A retail capability as additional sources of revenues for BRP and the dealers develop PA&A strategies and PA&A sales plan, identify key actions that directly increase PA&A sales, prioritize and implement action plan to realize them.
- Establish proper targets per dealer in China to maximize financial objectives. Prepare a district business plan (TAP) addressing the risks and opportunities of your market. Prioritize actions and optimize the distributor network in line with BRP positioning and identified market potential.
- Works with the Marketing Team to enable strategic growth and sustainment of the BRP brand by leveraging and integrating both strategic and tactical marketing capabilities to support customer engagement.
- In collaboration with superior, implement and execute dealer training plan (product - demo - marketing).
- Support Dealer Development team to identify opportunities to improve dealer network coverage and performance to sustain growth potential. Exploring opportunities in regions where BRP is not represented in China.
- Work closely with Aftersales team to drive dealer profit through aftersales programs.
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
- Previous experience in sales field, strong track record of sales performance, preferably with automotive retail/wholesale knowledge. Retail expertise, selling skills, critical analysis of data and communication skills are essential.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Sales and/or related major, or advanced business degree with
applicable industry experience.
- Experience in premium auto brands or similar industry is a plus
- Strong influencing skills, able to communicate with people with different culture backgrounds.
- Rich automobile/power-sports knowledge and working experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills as well as people management skills.
- Skilful MS office software utilization.
- Native Chinese language skills (Mandarin) & English communication skills.
- Travel Frequency: 25%-40% +
