**Job Description**
Join our dynamic team in the Food Drying Department, where you will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery used in the drying and packaging of Food Grade Ferrous Sulfate. This role requires strict adherence to safety protocols and maintaining clean production areas.
**Responsibilities**
+ Dry and package bulk Food Grade Ferrous Sulfate according to Work Instructions and SOPs.
+ Meet daily production level needs as determined by management.
+ Follow safety requirements and maintain production areas with proper housekeeping.
+ Maintain proper stock rotation of FG approved Moist Ferrous Sulfate.
+ Move material with a skid steer.
+ Complete Work Orders and Production Records.
+ Sample product for Quality Control testing.
+ Complete shift change cleaning requirements.
+ Operate machinery to move, mix, and dry materials, then store the dried product in storage bins.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience with sit-down forklift operation.
+ Previous experience in operating machinery and making adjustments.
+ Ability to consistently lift 55 pounds.
+ Experience in food production and dryer operation.
+ Knowledge of food manufacturing, GMP, and cGMP standards.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience working in the Food and Beverage industry.
+ Machine troubleshooting experience.

**Work Environment**
Work in a dusty environment with iron salt particles on the floor, emitting a smell reminiscent of pennies. Although the material is not hazardous to health, employees have the option to wear an N95 mask or scarf for comfort. This position requires working in a manufacturing environment that demands safety and cleanliness.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, Indiana.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
