Linde Gas Equipment Inc. is seeking a Dry Ice Operator – Team Lead to join our team in Long Beach, CA. The Production Lead is responsible for managing production activities to ensure that internal and external customer demands for Dry Ice are met.

What you will be doing (1st shift):

Ensure plant operations are conducted in a safe and environmentally responsible mannerRemain compliant with all regulatory agencies including FDA, DOT, EPA, OSHA, DHS, as well as all company policies and proceduresSchedule production of dry ice Maintain stocking levels of finished product and raw materialsSchedule raw material deliveries as neededDrive productivity throughout the operation to maximize plant capabilities and operational efficiencyResponsible for ensuring the proper appearance, image, and security of the facility and equipmentResponsible for providing proper job training and supporting employees in career development and growth opportunitiesSupervise personnel on a fair and consistent basis to help foster an atmosphere where employees are motivated, informed, and empowered to do their jobsManage employee activities in conjunction with company policies and proceduresEffectively conduct accident/incident investigations in accordance with company policyTimely and accurate completion of required reports, which may include product inventory, dry ice bin inventory, expense reports, financial reports, KPI reports, payroll, ACMS Work Orders, etc.Support inter-company and route truck distribution of products to help ensure efficient, timely, accurate, and professional deliveryInteract professionally with internal and external customersAssist in implementation of Standard Operating Procedures as required or as revisions or changes are madeMonitor asset usage and recommend cylinder/bin purchases and/or increases to inventory as business demands changeConduct monthly safety meetings as necessary Safely operates forklift or other machinery to load, unload, sort, stage and transport productMechanical aptitude with the ability to problem solveAble to lift, rotate and lower 60lbs consistently throughout the work dayCommunicate effectively and ability to act with a sense of urgency when necessaryFollows Linde safety procedures and encourages others to do the sameSelf-motivated, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervisionMaintains a clean and organized work environmentAbility to be flexible with work scheduleOther duties as assigned
