Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Dry Gas Seal Engineer to support manufacturing operations through technical expertise, problem-solving, and continuous improvement initiatives. The role focuses on troubleshooting production issues, optimizing machining, assembly, and testing processes, and driving cost, quality, and delivery improvements. The engineer will collaborate closely with manufacturing teams, apply Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, and contribute to the development of capital projects, tooling, and CNC programming. This position is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in manufacturing engineering and a passion for operational excellence.
Your Role: :
You will support and improve manufacturing processes through planning, troubleshooting, and applying Lean tools. You’ll also ensure tooling, CNC programs, and equipment are in place to meet production goals.
Plans, execute, and coordinates manufacturing processes involving machining, assembly, and testing.
Analyzes and improves quality, cost and delivery by using Lean and Six Sigma tools.
Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling, and production.
Investigates project/capital equipment proposals, develops justification, prepares requests for expenditure, acquires equipment, installs equipment, and ensures that justification goals are achieved.
Partners with Manufacturing Supervisors to achieve Flowserve goals and objectives.
Specifies and acquires factory supplies that reduce costs and improve effectiveness.
Ensures availability of CNC programs to support new products and customer requirements.
Assists with training, instructing, and maintaining a flexible operator CNC programming and tooling skill base.
Ensures tooling and fixtures are available to support customer demand.
Troubleshoots processed and equipment minimizing delays in production schedules.
Assists with development of the profit plan and the manufacturing strategic plan. Track assigned capital projects and expenditures status to ensure timely completion and within budget.

Your Profile:
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or technical field, with 1–3 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment. You have a demonstrated ability to lead and implement cost-saving initiatives using Continuous Improvement methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma. Your strong technical foundation enables you to read and interpret engineering drawings, safety regulations, maintenance instructions, and other technical documents with ease. You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to write clear technical correspondence and speak confidently in front of teams or customers. In addition, you are skilled in advanced mathematics, including geometry, trigonometry, and statistical analysis, which you apply to solve complex engineering problems, analyze data, and improve manufacturing processes. Your ability to manage abstract and practical variables makes you a reliable contributor to technical and operational challenges.
