DRP/Material Handler III

Fulfills DRP Orders to meet customer requirements and to achieve company objectives for customer service, quality, and delivery metrics

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Review printed orders, locating required materials in warehouse, material acquisition, and pre-packing of materials in preparation for shippingFollowing published procedures to insure employee safety, order fulfillment accuracy, quality and productivity to ensure achievement of all company/divisional goalsInterfaces with Drainage sales, customer service, and warehouse staff to prioritize shipments and meet customer demands. Monitors product stock levels as well as warehouse bin locationsAssists warehouse staff to assure proper flow of off-system purchases and vendor managed inventories (cartons, hardware).Reviews daily order backlog and following identified order priorities and commitmentsCrosstrain to support shipping, receiving, and other positions as requested warehouse managerSupport Drainage Operations Manager to execute cross-functional activities and special projects.Monitors equipment following daily PM checklist and reporting all equipment and safety concerns to managementOther duties assigned by manager

EDUCATION:

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience preferred

EXPERIENCE:

3+ years of related experience

MINIMUM REQUIRED SKILLS:

Licensed to operate all material handling equipment required to fulfill established dutiesPackaging and shippingCycle CountsPhysical and scale countingPull sales and DRP OrdersSystem transaction (material movements, etc)Use Scanners in daily operations, cycle counting, physical inventory, etc.Visual quality inspectionBasic computer skills to perform data look ups, computer related transactionsAbility to read, write and understand EnglishProficient math skills

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
