DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a HGV Training Manager to play a vital role managing driver safety, training and compliance.

\n

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

\n

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

\n\nCollaborating with the Transport Management team to ensure that drivers are trained to DHL standards whilst maintaining safety and compliance\nMonitoring driver telematics and compliance reporting through Microlise and providing coaching to improve standards\nProviding driver training, new driver inductions and driver assessments in line with DHL policies and procedures\nSupporting with accident and incident investigations to understand root cause and implement corrective actions\nManaging and updating documentation such as training records, risk assessments and SSOW's\n\n

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

\n\nMust hold Class 1 Driving Licence with a valid Digital Tachograph Card and CPC Card\nExperience training drivers or conducting HGV driving assessments is desirable, but not essential\nGood level of IT literacy, with experience using Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams. Microlise experience would be ideal but not essential\nConfident to communicate across various levels both written and verbal\nHappy to attend training courses in the North West and Midlands\n\n
