Seeking a full time weekend Driver to support our Food service department at Oro Valley Hospital working out of our Transitions building on the Northwest Medical Center campus. Please apply if you are willing to support our food service department with other assigned duties that include dish washing, sanitation, and serving food.
Work schedule: Thursday, 12:30pm - 6:30pm, Friday - Sunday, 6am - 630pm.

**Job Summary**
The Driver is responsible for transporting people or cargo to a predetermined destination and is accountable for the safety and efficient operation of the vehicle and to follow all traffic laws.
**Essential Functions**
+ Transports people or cargo to their destination.
+ Assists clients and patients as needed to safely complete the transfer.
+ Operates in a safe manner while also abiding by all traffic laws.
+ Inspects vehicle and immediately makes a notification of any defects immediately.
+ Assists with loading and unloading vehicle.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
+ Complies with all policies and standards.
**Qualifications**
+ 1-3 years driving experience as a courier preferred
**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**
+ Organized and able to prioritize tasks/deliveries.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
+ Safely operate a vehicle and be insured on a company policy.
+ Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe driving.
+ Ability to navigate routes efficiently to reach predetermined destinations.
+ Strong communication and customer service skills to provide a positive experience for passengers or clients.
+ Proficiency in operating various types of vehicles safely.
+ Attention to detail to perform vehicle inspections and maintenance checks as necessary.
+ Good judgment to make safe driving decisions in varying conditions.
+ Time management skills to adhere to schedules and deadlines.
+ Physical stamina to handle long periods of driving.
**Licenses and Certifications**
+ DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State required
