Position Summary:  

Will be responsible for the safe operation of forklifts and company provided truck during the loading and unloading of materials on the PCC Airfoils dock, offsite warehouse, Prototype Foundry and areas within the Minerva facility.

 

Essential Functions:  

Ability to operate a forklift and pass required training.Review incoming paperwork, verifying and signing off for quantities and condition receivedCoordinate with truck drivers the distribution of loads based on weight or delivery schedule requirements.Receive materials returned from customers in the AQCS computer system per applicable SOP’sOperate stretch wrap equipment in a safe and efficient manner per operating manual requirementsUnload and load palletized material from semi-trucks, flatbed trucks and cargo vans in a safe and efficient mannerOrganize and receive materials coming in from UPS, FedEx, DHL, JAM and other delivery agencies.Deliver packages to assigned drop-off sites as requiredHousekeeping, 6S organization of the work area and adherence to all PCC Cardinal Rules of SafetyWarehouse deliveries and movement of materials as requiredOther duties as assigned

 

Required Skills:  

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situations and priorities. Able to work flexible hours with a history of dependability as demonstrated with strong attendance record.     Must be a motivated self-starter with strong sense of urgency and the ability to work independently.  Maintain a positive work atmosphere with a customer focus approach to support Operations and Safety. 

 
Desired Skills:  

Highly organized, self-motivated individual who can work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high activity with aggressive project timelines. Proven ability to work hands-on with the team to achieve optimal equipment performance. Proven experience in Manufacturing Industry with the shipping/receiving department. 

 

Experience & Education
