What You'll Be Doing

Operate roof bolting and drilling equipment safely and efficiently in underground quarry operationsPerform routine inspections and maintenance on drilling machineryMonitor ground conditions and install roof support systems as neededCollaborate with team members to ensure safe and productive work practicesDocument work activities and report any hazards or equipment issues

What Are We Looking For

Demonstrated ability to operate heavy equipment in underground environmentsStrong understanding of safety protocols and hazard recognitionCapability to work independently and as part of a teamWillingness to learn and adapt to changing site conditionsEffective communication skills and attention to detail

Conditions of Employment

Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background checkSome positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing

Work Environment

Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level
