Job Title: Drafter/Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Drafter/Designer with a strong background in civil and structural design. The ideal candidate will possess a Diploma or Certificate in Computer Aided Design technology from an accredited institution or have equivalent related training, along with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience. The candidate should be detail-oriented, proficient in Autodesk AutoCAD (2D/3D), and capable of completing complex CAD assignments with minimal supervision. Proficiency in REVIT is also essential.

ResponsibilitiesCreate civil and structural design layouts.Develop detailed 2D and 3D engineering drawings using software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Revit.Revise designs based on feedback from engineers or clients while maintaining project timelines.Perform modeling related to earthworks, dams, pipelines, road alignments, and building excavations.Essential SkillsProficient in Autodesk AutoCAD (2D/3D) and REVIT.Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in civil/structural drafting.Experience with Civil/Structural Drafting and BIM.Ability to complete complex CAD assignments with minimal supervision.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Rhino is preferred.Heavy civil/industrial experience is preferred.Background or experience in engineering/field work is preferred.Work Environment

The work environment involves using advanced design software and requires a strong focus on detail and precision. The position may require collaboration with engineers and clients to ensure accurate and timely project completion.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
