What You’ll Be Doing:Use CAD software to create detailed production drawings (multi-view, assembly, and load drawings).Work with engineers and production teams to bring ideas to life — the kind of ideas that require real math, machine knowledge, and materials understanding.Update and revise drawings to reflect changes, so things stay accurate and consistent.Help determine shipping needs with load drawings.Create and maintain CNC programs — this is where your technical side shines.Handle Work Orders like a pro, meeting deadlines and shifting gears when priorities change.Keep CAD files organized and easy to find.Record key info like BOMs, model weights, material needs, and design parameters.
Work Experience
What You Need to Bring:
Education/Experience:Associate’s degree or tech school completion in CAD/drafting or a related field plus 2 years of experience.OR 5 years of hands-on drafting/design experience in a similar setting.
Software Skills:Strong with AutoCAD 2D — you’ll be using it daily.Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).Epicor and Nest software? That’s a bonus.
Equipment Know-How:PCs, office hardware, basic troubleshooting — you don’t need to be IT, just confident.
