Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Job Description

The primary role of an electrical engineer is to design, develop, test, or oversee the manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, components, or systems for various applications including commercial, industrial, military, or scientific use. This role requires the ability to create engineering drawings and interpret blueprints.

ResponsibilitiesSupervise the design, development, and testing of the manufacture of electrical equipment, including machinery controls, wiring, and lighting.Review and approve the cost-effectiveness, reliability, and safety of certain design models.Discuss estimates for time and cost to complete projects with clients.Supervise the simulation and testing of machine/structure/system operation and monitor product quality.Direct and coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.Inspect completed installations and observe operations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.Essential Skills5 years of AutoCAD experienceAbility to create 2D modelsBachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical EngineeringProficiency in GD&TAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience in AutoCAD 2D, Harness Design, Drafting, Electrical DrawingsFamiliarity with NX and Aerospace industriesAbility to pass CGDWork Environment

The position offers a flexible start time with core hours from 9am to 3pm, five days a week, totaling a 40-hour work week. Candidates can work from home two days a week and are expected to attend critical meetings in the office. The workplace is friendly with an excellent cafeteria, and the work space consists of a cubicle within the engineering department.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
