EDUCATION • Degree or equivalent work experience equally preferable • Degree in accounting, finance, or other relevant field CERTIFICATIONS • [Include information as needed.] WORK EXPERIENCE • Financial services industry experience. Knowledge of commercial account operations or a related discipline a plus • Understanding of the account activation process and corresponding regulations preferred. FUNCTIONAL SKILLS • Basic experience with commercial accounts, cash management, payment operations or other deposit services • Exposure to commercial or corporate account banking systems and processes • Foundational knowledge of financial products, accounting principles and compliance regulations • Exposure to regulatory and reporting requirements • Proficiency with relevant business software FOUNDATIONAL SKILLS • Communicates effectively • Identifies multiple paths to success through the development of analytical, critical thinking, and decision-making skills • Exercises sound judgement and strives for continuous improvement • Demonstrates optimism, resilience, flexibility, and openness to others' ideas • Learns while doing • Actively listens and asks thoughtful questions • Leverages available technology to achieve efficiency and results • Engages inclusively and with intent • Always acts with integrity RESPONSIBILITIES • Responsibilities include supporting all activities pertinent to the timely, accurate and efficient processing of commercial account transactions including onboarding clients into the system, opening and closing accounts and handling transitions and conversions. The Commercial Account Operations Analyst / Officer assists with: • Obtaining documentation and reference data to ensure regulatory aspects of KYC and AML are completed prior to opening accounts • Providing client support for onboarding, maintenance, and closing activities • Working with clients to explain required documentation and regulations • Reconciling and reviewing incoming or outgoing data for accuracy to ensure data quality • Ensuring timely and effective commercial account monitoring and reporting • Identifying, documenting, and escalating significant gaps or data quality issues • Ensuring corporate account onboarding, transition and closing activities meet compliance, legal and regulatory requirements • Preparing required documentation for audit purposes
