Downstream Marketing Manager Iberia

You’ll lead with purpose, breaking down barriers to innovation in a more connected, compassionate world. **A Day in the Life** To support our Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) business in Iberia, we are currently looking for a full-time Downstream Marketing Manager with excellent communication skills and a minimum of 5 years of marketing experience and 3 years of people management. We offer you an exciting opportunity in the field of marketing and product management where you will be responsible for product launches, campaign planning and execution, portfolio management, market insights, and driving strong collaboration with the sales/field team. You will lead a highly specialized Downstream Marketing (DSM) team in Iberia, collaborating closely with Training & Education (T&E) as a key partner to ensure alignment and success. This role will require a strong understanding of the Iberia market dynamics, cultural nuances, and regulatory environment. In this role, you will develop and implement local and regional marketing strategies to ensure that short- and long-term business objectives are met. You will lead the Downstream Marketing team to establish and execute marketing tactics and product launches to drive revenue and market share growth for the CRM business in Iberia. You will work closely with the Iberia Business Director, local sales and field teams to ensure seamless execution of strategic marketing plans, and collaborate with Western Europe marketing to adapt central initiatives while developing, planning, executing, and following up on the regional marketing strategy. Comfortable with approximately 50% travel. Job location: Iberia region. **Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:** + Build and maintain strong partnerships with KOLs and scientific societies, ensuring alignment with Medtronic’s strategic goals and facilitating their involvement in product launches, congresses, and educational initiatives. + Ensure Medtronic’s strong presence at local congresses, coordinating cross-functional teams and planning impactful marketing initiatives to maximize brand visibility and stakeholder engagement. + Support business reviews and market modeling, providing actionable insights to guide strategic decision-making. + To be successful in this role, you need to think strategically while being hands-on. You must handle multiple internal and external stakeholders in Iberia and across Western Europe. Therefore, we are looking for a fine balance of a hands-on individual and an effective team leader with a commercial mindset combined with strong analytical skills and strategic thinking. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential. + Lead effectively a highly specialized group of individual contributors in Downstream Marketing. + Collaborate closely with Training & Education (T&E) as a partner, ensuring alignment while respecting that T&E activities are managed by a separate team in Iberia. + Work closely with EMEA Downstream Marketing and regional sales teams to plan and execute marketing campaigns and product/service launches with excellence, including (but not limited to) launch planning, launch forecasting, marketing mix optimization, field sales launch/campaign readiness training, and customer meetings. + Develop and adapt regional/local Value Propositions to multiple external stakeholders. + Set up KPIs to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives across Iberia. + Support country marketing and sales teams with marketing tactics adaptation/development and execution. + Lead market and customer insights generation, including competitive intelligence. + Lead regional portfolio management and pricing strategies. + Support the annual operating plan process. + Drive selected initiatives and projects across Iberia. + Build strong relationships with KOLs and scientific societies to ensure strategic alignment and collaboration. + Plan and execute Medtronic’s presence in local congresses to reinforce brand visibility and engagement. + Leverage a deep understanding of the Iberia market’s unique dynamics, regulatory environment, and cultural nuances to develop and execute targeted marketing strategies that resonate with local stakeholders. + Work in close partnership with the sales/field team to align on strategic priorities, ensure seamless execution of marketing plans, and achieve revenue and market share goals. **Required Knowledge and Experience:** + Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Science, or equivalent. + Minimum 5 years of working experience in a marketing function in an international company. + Minimum 3 years of people management experience. + Proven ability to work effectively in a matrix environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams across different geographies and business units. + Track record of successful product launches and campaign execution. + Knowledge/proven expertise in marketing management and project management; ability to plan, organize, and execute a project independently and on time. + Demonstrated skills for problem-solving and issue handling. + Process-driven with strong analytical skills. + A team player with a track record of working collaboratively cross-functionally and generating impact and results through others. + Very good verbal and written presentation skills. + An inspiring people manager who can lead their team to exceptional results while developing each member for future assignments. + A positive and proactive person who brings passion, energy, and excellence in execution to their work. + Strong communicator with excellent social skills to maximize internal and external collaboration. + Fluent in English. + Experience in the medical device industry. + Experience in Cardiovascular or Cardiac Rhythm Management business. + Experience with direct customer engagement. + Experience with digital marketing. + Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese. **Physical Job Requirements** The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.  **Benefits & Compensation** **Medtronic offers a competitive Salary and flexible Benefits Package** A commitment to our employees lives at the core of our values.
