Job Title: Door Systems & Access Control Technician
Location: Devins, MA
Pay: $30–$34/hour | Temp-to-Perm
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
We’re looking for a sharp and mechanically savvy Door Systems & Access Control Technician to join our Facilities team supporting a premier pharmaceutical manufacturing campus in Devens, MA. This isn’t your average door repair job—you’ll be the go-to expert for a wide range of doors, access control devices, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems across a 1-million-square-foot, GMP-regulated environment. What You’ll Be DoingOperate, troubleshoot, and repair everything from dock levelers and rolling steel doors to cleanroom man doors, sliding gates, storefront entrances, and high-speed roll-up doors
Install, program, and maintain electronic access control components such as mag locks, proximity sensors, e-strikes, and key systems
Maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic door operators, actuators, and lock assist mechanisms
Conduct preventative maintenance and safety inspections on all assigned door systems
Support general facilities work: patch/paint, lighting, minor plumbing, furniture moves, and more
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safe, secure, and code-compliant building access
Maintain accurate documentation of service calls, PMs, materials used, and programming changes
What You BringSolid background in mechanical and electromechanical door systems
Experience working with hydraulic and pneumatic door operators and lift systems
Familiarity with door brands such as Stanley, Dormakaba, Tormax, Chase, ASI, and Schlage
Hands-on skills in access control system installation, programming, and troubleshooting
Understanding of GMP/cleanroom environments and safe work practices
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform active, hands-on facility maintenance work
RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED
3+ years of experience in door/access system maintenance and repair
Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic systems
Comfortable with basic programming of door/access devices
Familiar with Google Docs, Word, and Excel for service documentation
AAADM certification and previous work in pharmaceutical or cGMP settings preferred

Pay Details: $30.00 to $36.00 per year
