What Success Looks Like:

The Team Lead must project a positive attitude, be open and willing to help others when needed and have excellent attendance.

Leads Tier meetings. Analyzes daily order patterns and workforce levels to meet customer demands. Conducts daily safety audits and ensures all employees are wearing appropriate PPE and operating safely. Exhibits strong leadership and communication skills, fostering a cohesive team environment. Demonstrates the ability to encourage others to cooperate and work together.  Works independently with superior results. Collaborates across departments to resolve conflicts and facilitate smooth operations. Understands quality expectations and works with all team members to ensure quality procedures are followed. Works from prints, sketches, specifications, and instructions to order and maintain stock, communicate orders, check employees’ work, monitor equipment, ensure absence of defects on products; notify supervisor of unusual conditions, equipment malfunction, or material discrepancies; maintain equipment and work area in clean, orderly condition. Performs set up and troubleshoot all equipment and products in the department. Must be flexible with hours across all shifts to train and coach and be qualified to coordinate and lead the implementation of improvements within their department. Oversees equipment operation and employee performance, addressing any discrepancies. Assists the supervisor with the daily planning and scheduling activities. Coordinates special programs and projects and can facilitate activities working with Production, Engineering, and R&D. Serves as the main contact in the absence of the Supervisor. Develops and monitors standard work processes to optimize department efficiency. Conducts regular 5S audits, ensuring the department is organized and tools are readily available.

Your Credentials:

Mechanical skills Attention to detail Experience operating manufacturing machinery  Experience with lock out/tag out (LOTO) Understanding of how to use machine guarding

The hourly range for this position starts at $23/hr.
