The Philanthropies Department (PHI) helps to invite individuals and families to follow the example of the Lord, Jesus Christ, as they live the two great commandments to love God and their neighbors. Giving helps members and others experience the joy and blessings of participating in God's work as they choose to follow inspiration and prophetic direction. To do this, PHI facilitates and invites voluntary philanthropic giving (beyond tithes and fast offering) for programs and projects approved by the First Presidency. PHI teaches, engages, coordinates, invites, and reports regarding voluntary philanthropic contributions to the Church and its affiliated charities. PHI provides shared donor and philanthropic support to all Church-affiliated entities.
Philanthropies correlates, encourages, invites, facilitates, and acknowledges voluntary philanthropic contributions to the church and its affiliated charities. To do this, Donor Liaison, Leadership Gift employees seek to provide exceptional customer relationship management, stewardship and support for those who choose to make a leadership level contribution ($5k-$25k) and invite a personal relationship.
The Donor Liaison, Leadership Gifts role is an intermediate role where employees use their professional experience and expertise to help create an engaging environment in order to facilitate inspired giving experiences for all involved. The focus is on developing a digital connection (no travel beyond Utah) with a primary emphasis to teach about approved priorities and thank early-stage donors for their contributions. The clients served include prospects, donors, institutional leaders, and Philanthropies colleagues. The expectation is to facilitate, engage, invite, and create an exceptional giving experience that reflects the standard of the Kingdom of God.
This is an intermediate-level individual contributor.
