DOE | DOD Project Manager

CEIS | Government is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support construction and infrastructure projects at the Savannah River National Laboratory (SRNL) in Aiken, South Carolina. The selected candidate will oversee project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring alignment with DOE, DOD, and SRNL requirements. This role requires a proven background in construction management, familiarity with Savannah River Site operations, and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

Direct and manage construction and infrastructure projects from initiation through closeout, ensuring adherence to cost, schedule, and technical performance objectives.

Lead project planning, risk management, and execution in accordance with DOE and DOD project management frameworks.

Interface with SRNL management, DOE/DOD representatives, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with safety, security, and regulatory requirements.

Develop and maintain project baselines, schedules, budgets, and performance metrics.

Ensure quality assurance and safety oversight are integrated into project execution.

Prepare project documentation, status reports, and presentations for senior leadership and external customers.

Provide leadership to project teams, including engineers, construction managers, subcontractors, and field staff.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

Significant construction management experience, with demonstrated success managing large, complex projects in industrial, nuclear, or government environments.

Prior work experience at Savannah River Site (SRS) or Savannah River National Laboratory (SRNL) is strongly preferred.

Experience managing projects under Department of Defense (DOD) contracts or within a DOD framework.

Knowledge of DOE Order 413.3B (Program and Project Management for the Acquisition of Capital Assets) is a strong plus.

Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.

Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, MS Office Suite).

PMP certification or equivalent credential is preferred.
