This opportunity is unique to active-duty US Military Service members with formal approval to participate as a SkillBridge Intern in collaboration with Vets2PM’s authorized DOD SkillBridge program.

You will gain hands-on experience during your internship and will have the opportunity to join (upon successful completion of the internship) one of the world's leading technology companies.

Our Main Business Group that you could be assigned to:

Building Automation: HVAC Controls, Lighting Controls, & Mechanical/Electrical Services

Responsibilities and learning experiences include but are not limited to:

Maintain project schedules, coordinate team needs, and identify time-sensitive tasks Manage supply requisitions and oversee on-site material inventory management Assist on-site subcontractor coordination and communication Ensuring on-site safety compliance with all safety policies and procedures

Desired Technical Military Experience, Backgrounds and/or Aptitude: 

Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic familiarity Construction Management Administration Logistics Civil Engineering (MEP)

You’ll make an immediate impact by having the following qualifications: 

 Basic Qualifications:

Only active military personnel will be considered for this internship and program acceptance requires military approval Selected candidates will continue to be paid under their current wage/benefits provided by the US Military and will not be paid by Siemens directly throughout internship participation High school diploma or state-recognized GED Demonstrated experience and/or applied knowledge/aptitude in the following: Driving communication and coordination/execution of projects Managing operational sites Organizational and interpersonal skills and ability to effectively collaborate and communicate (verbal/written) with customers Overseeing activities and quality control of operations and projects Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license with limited violations

Preferred Qualifications: 

U.S. Military experience as an E5 or above preferred (Navy, Air Force, Army, Marines, Coast Guard, Space Force, National Guard, Reserves) Associate or bachelor's degree Familiarity or experience with engineering HVAC, Building Automation, Fire Alarm, or Security systems Knowledge of best practices and industry standards in construction settings OSHA 10 or 30 Certification
